Basic Law Enforcement Information Session

Interested in becoming a certified law enforcement officer in North Carolina? Join the BLET Coordinator to learn about the Basic Law Enforcement Training program, what the course involves, and how to apply. 

📋 Application Packets will be available to pick up at the session.

✅ To qualify for BLET, applicants must:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalency
• Be at least 20 years old
• Have no major misdemeanors or felony convictions
• Pass the CASAS reading exam
• Provide a physician's certification of fitness from an NC doctor

Sponsorship by a North Carolina law enforcement agency is required to waive the registration fee.
